WTRMLN WTR's Success Story
WTRMLN WTR had a product no one else else was offering, but they needed help explaining that to Whole Foods Market.
Modern Marketing played an integral role in the launch & promotion of WTRMLN WTR at Whole Foods and other top accounts on the West Coast, after the indie brand’s scrappy launch at boutique retailers in New York.
We provided a multi-faceted program to address brand needs from all angles, including retail sampling, staffing and routing, branded apparel and custom design, and influencer partnerships, creating a total consumer marketing experience with a 360° impact.
ASSISTED SALES • Modern Marketing spearheaded and managed the ongoing retail partnership and sampling program with the 32 Whole Foods stores in WTRMLN WTR’s SoCal territory, including all staffing and training; weekly sampling at each location; product transport and cold storage; retail relations and in-store merchandising.
The next phase of our program brought WTRMLN WTR to Costco, where our program managers and brand ambassador teams were able to execute the stringent demo and sales quotas required to launch a new product at Costco – a huge win for WTRMLN WTR.
PRODUCTION • We designed and produced much of WTRMLN WTR’s branded gear, which was key to creating a fully on-brand experience. Staff uniforms, custom cooler bags for product gifting, branded vehicles for in-market activations, and retail account giveaways (branded beanies, tees, and custom freezer gloves for store staff) were all part of the WTRMLN WTR marketing toolkit.
INFLUENCER MARKETING • We also raised popular awareness of the brand by lining up influencer partners, coordinating product gifting and social posts, and bringing WTRMLN WTR to key lifestyle events.
