When we started working with Safilo, one of the world’s top manufacturers of designer shades, they had an amazing portfolio of licensed brand names – but very little marketing presence on the ground in North America. With headquarters in Italy and a satellite office in NYC, Safilo needed a group to activate brand experiences at key retailers and lifestyle events.
Modern Marketing stepped in to design B2B and B2C experiential campaigns to support sales of Dior, Celine, Carrera, Polaroid and Kate Spade sunglass lines, in multiple markets across the U.S.
ASSISTED SALES • Our teams of trained product specialists hosted recurring pop-up events and trunk shows at key retailers like Saks, Barneys NY, Nordstrom and Bergdorf Goodman. We created custom training materials, hired and managed all staff, and ran Safilo’s retail marketing programs for 3 years running.
CONSUMER EXPERIENCES • Modern Marketing designed and produced all trade show booths and consumer event setups for Safilo brands’ presence at Vision Expo West, Formula 1 races, etc.
